The 2019 Cape Cod Fishing Forecast is shaping up to deliver another great fishing season. Long about the first part of May the schoolie striped bass (1 – 5lbs.) with a few holdovers that can be up to (10 – 12lbs ) move into the rivers and creeks on Cape Cod, and we fish them, until about the first week in June.
In June the larger striped bass will start showing up around the mid cape area, and there be with them lots of Scup (porgies) and also some black sea bass to fish for. When the water in that area warms up to 70 degrees, the stripers move out, as they tend to not stay in warmer waters. When that happens they move further east to Chatham, and north to Province Town, area where they will be until mid October and they head back south.
